Detailed description of Sunset Landing Golf Course
Sunset Landing Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located adjacent to Huntsville International Airport and the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama.
Sunset Landing Golf Course first opened for play in 1968. The course was designed by Bob E. Baldock and Robert L. Baldock.
From the back tees, the course plays to 6,803 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 72 yards. The longest hole on the course is #13, a par- that plays to 568 yards. The shortest hole on the course is #11, a par-3 that plays to 167 yards from the back tees.
Sunset Landing Golf Course is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. Sunset Landing is closed only on Christmas Day.

Took advanatage of eary afternoon 55degrees and windy day to play some golf. With the course next to the airport flat and windy don't mix for a good day. Not bad yardage (6,800) from the tips but the two (2) club wind made it very challanging to get the yardage correct. Looking forward to a calm day on my next round as I shot 83/33 putts and worked on my knock down shots all day.
